What breed is this? Need answers quick...

Today I found my prized rooster dead under the grape bushes... I have no clue what breed he was due to he came with the house... I don't have any pictures of him sadly... He was one of those decorator roosters with the very LONG tails he is black with some green reflecting on him ( not sure what to call that haha ) I'm guessing he was old because his comb and waddle were begining to turn black ( and when I found him it was compleatly black ) I want to get another one of those breeds or 2 because the hens are sobbing about his death and now refusing to lay eggs...

Since you don't have any pics, your best bet is to hit the "Breeds" link at the top of the page and browse through to see if you can find any pics that look like your roo.

Sounds like a Black Sumatra. Try searching that and see if thats it...
