Anyone have any idea what this chick is? I ordered 24 Black Maran eggs, which most of them were, but I got 3 of these. The pictures are a little light. They are black with reddish-brown heads (about the same color as a Rhode Island Red) and a white to light yellow spot/patch on their chests. They have black, bare (non-feathered) legs with yellow/light colored tips of toes, Nails/Claws are liight as well. I called the hatchery, and she has no idea what it could be. I did incubate some of my eggs as well but, as I have only purebred Standard Buff Cochins, I know for a fact it's not one of mine! It came from a medium brown egg with dark brown spots. Any ideas? Has anyone seen a chick like this? Thanks!
