Keep in mind when you have hatchery birds they are not bred to the standard of perfection, more like the standard of close enough and lay a lot of eggs. Hatchery birds often have wrong leg colors, occasionally combs are funky, and coloration can be all over the place. I'm pretty sure the white tail feathers would disqualify this roo, and the darker shading of the tail would keep him from the breeding pen for a serious breeder, but I'll bet he's "purebred" from the hatchery, buff orpington.
