What breed is this rooster?

We had him a couple years ago but never figured out his breed. Now I'd like to get another but haven't found a definite answer online anywhere.







i was thinking sicilian buttercup, but his coloring is closer to an ameracauna and neither of those explains the feathers on his head.

He is a Polish mix.

Could be a possible Polish X Sicilian Buttercup judging buy his comb.

I'd say the Polish was Gold-laced, judging by his chest.

yeah i was wondering how he got the pattern too, but I just don't think it could be with 2 smaller breeds he was a big rooster about 5-6lbs.

Could he be a Black Copper Maran(s)? I have seen several pics and YouTube Video's and they have the spike right next to the comb but not behind the head. Could just be a variation in the breed... Perhaps you've already contemplated this breed. If not, hope this was helpful.

i'm thinking he might have 3 breeds in him...silcon buttercup with the comb type he has, he has our black copper marans coloration, and a polish crest...
