What Breed is this teenage hen

I too am surprised how delightful raising and having chickens is! All their funny mannerisms, like the brown and white egg thing you speak of lol. My housemate was lying in the sun on a blanket yesterday and when my chickens came around the corner and saw her they all ran to check her out and then my big light sussex bent down and got to her eye level and stared her in the eye and then just ran off. Little weirdos!

And my two cents on your cute little fluff butt above would be a speckled sussex!

Definatley an EE. they lay blue or green eggs. 5-7 per week

A couple months ago I got this hen as a chick at a farm store she was a brown chick with a dark stripe down her back ,now she has a black and yellow beak and yellow legs I want to know what breed she is so I can know how many eggs to expect

I think it's a Brown Leghorn. I can't really make it out, but I think I can see white earlobes.

I have Welsummers; they don't have any white on them at all.

If your little one in the pans legs are green, it's definitely a EE
