What breed is this?

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum. I just brought a new Rooster home. He's in quarantine right now getting aquainted with my girls. I was hoping to get some help identifying his breed. He's a very large bird. I would guess about 7 lbs.

Possibly a red sex link? The red patch on the wings makes me think that

Some do.
Some are RIR roosters over white leghorn hens.
Which would be my guess on what this one is.

Thanks for all the replies. I thinking along the same lines. Surprisingly, he is very large. I have a large silver sexlink hen and a Rhode island red hen and he is much bigger.

Mixed breed, or Red Sex Link (which is technically a hybrid).
