What breed is this!?

I can't remember exactly where i got her. It definitely was not a hatchery, or somewhere that gets their chicks from a hatchery. It think i got her from this guy i know, he just has a bunch of random chickens. He said she was a bantam not a hybrid, but she is definitely too big to be a bantam.

Thanks for the update but I am so sorry you lost her and even more so that you had a traumatic time at the vet's.
Unfortunately you cannot rule out Marek's with any certainty in cases like these unless you get a necropsy. The nature of Marek's is such that there can be a huge variation both I symptoms severity and occurrence of outbreaks with weeks, months or even years between cases, particularly if you don't have any adolescent birds in the flock. Of course it may not be Marek's but it is worth being informed about the disease and vigilant and keeping your flock as stress free as possible .... and your fingers crossed! It is an extremely common disease..... on the sort of level as cold sores in humans.... both are Herpes Viruses,
Wishing you well with your remaining flock.
Did you post this in the wrong thread or did I miss something?
