What breed is this?

Anyone know what breed this is? And is it definitely a rooster at this point? Sure looks like one to me, but it’s never crowded and we’ve never seen it try to get ”frisky” with any of the hens...

It's a cockerel. Does he have 5 toes on each foot ? If so possibly a Faverolle cross.

That is exactly where I was going with the question about the feathering. I don't think he is an EE. But remember, one of my boys has 5 toes and one does not. The beard and muffs and leg feathers are on all three of Fabio's kids.

From one of your own chickens eggs? Do you have a Faverolle in the flock?

If he doesn't have favrolle in him, I'd guess he was an EE x light brahma.
