Mine seems on part with what my pheonixes lay, if any of hers are even in the nest she claimed. I'm hoping she takes after Mocha after they hatch, she's all show right now still on the nest and the eggs don't have much longer to goNot mine.
I had two, Mocha and Latte, and both laid large or extra large eggs. I sold Latte because I'm focusing on my Blue Australorps but kept Mocha because she was a very determined broody last year and I hope she'll raise some babies for me this year.

No, but she sounds way more protective/aggressive than my Java, I'm hoping that she gets that way when they hatch since she'll be with them in the barn after theyre a week old. Mine growls and puffs up when I rummage under her, but is half the bully that she was when she was running around the barn with all the cockerelsMocha hasn't actually raised any babies for me yet because I wasn't hatching when she was sitting, but I have hopes for her.
