What breed is this?

Greetings all...i have a little update.
So last time we've spoken was in March.

Between the time I first joined..started this thread and today, she must have laid eggs like 3 to 4 times. She has her seasons, she doesn't lay daily.

Everytime they were not fertile, she would sit for a while but then one by one come out with one and eat it. The smell is bad, the area where she is at has a fresh smell, not for long like a day or 2 because its windy anyway.

But this time...she went in..had a cluster of 6 .. then 3 days ago I hear PIEP PIEP PIEP ... i get closer ... she had 1 chick, but left the nest with it. The other eggs didnt hatch.

Here's the video of them today, I thought i got to come back and share this. First baby chick:

How cute. That means she met a rooster somewhere. She should be fine raising the chick on her own, but I'm sure she and the chick wouldn't mind some supplemental feed.

Oh yes, i do. I throw a little bit of little bird feed with plantain, little earthworms..keeping it simple

and about the rooster, there are many roosters around, but none is really close, however; for the past couple months ive noticed a nearby flock, a rooster with 3 to 4 hens.
All I did was start throwing some feed nearby bring them closer and since then they come by everyday.

This is the rooster:

she goes outside to walk around in the bushes with them.
Its funny to see how they arrive, he makes the call...and she comes out from wherever she is to go chill with em.

That's really funny. She seems to like to have company but she isn't going to join the flock because she likes staying by you and the food. The feral flock is very pretty. I always wanted to have totally free range chickens but it's not possible where I live.

hello all,

here a small update.
the chick is like 8 weeks old now.
still dont know exactly what breed this is but hen and chick look healthy, they forage around the garden a lot, they like to sit in some bushes on the floor after their food rallies..its like taking a siesta, to start again.
Anyway, here you go:

chick, mom, and dad (lives outside rogue with his flock)

sorry if quality is not that great..i had to zoom to get them, i cant get close, they wont let me
