I don't know where you are situated but wildlife rehabbers in Florida are no longer, from this year, permitted to take mallards. We have a large feral domestic mallard population that doesn't migrate and has caused havoc interbreeding with our native Mottled Ducks.

Please keep your girl until she has new flight feathers and can fend for herself in the wild

I know, it makes that bald head even worse. Buddy has gotten majorly picked on.

Oops. I was wondering. I know boys will pick in other boys, but I have male calls, and the runners leave them alone. Huh, the calls must be the cool kids. No wonder no eggs
