Looks like Barnevelder hens to me.

hi thank you! just looked at pics of them online and the cockerel is identical!

I just had another look, the neck and feathering looks like a BV, but when I enlarged the pic I saw it does not have a single comb, I will just go have another look around as now I am not so confident about a BV.

EDIT: Everything except the comb is screaming BV to me hahahaha

Mine don't, or combs that look like that, but the same lacing and black head and necks.

I just don't know for sure!

Yeah, they do look similar to yours except from the ear lobes, maybe that has been lost somewhere over the years in breeding?
