One time he did attack and flare his neck and jumped on my nieces side. But I recently moved an did a new coop and I think they were stressed. He hasn't done it again and never before that. But when I go out to the gate he will walk to the gate and get close to me and pace and peck on fence . But they r protective. I'm in the process of building a nice big coop with a big run. And hopefully they will both feel better an at home.

Yes it's fine

If you want some really friendly breeds try: Silkies, Barred Plymouth Rocks, Ameraucanas, D'Uccles, or Orpingtons.

He is also very very noisy and talks a lot. And when I'm out with him he just talks at me and when I leave , with out fail, he starts cocka doodle doo ing . Which he does throughout the whole day from 4:30am til like 8pm. Sure neighbors love me

Growing up I had a coop with just some brown hens and got brown eggs. But only for a few yrs and I was young. One latex eggs without yokes! But this is all new to me.
