What breed is this?

Thanks that's what it was supposed to be but a neighbor said she wasn't because she isn't laced very prettily.

The lacing (or lack thereof) is due to be hatchery grade stock - unfortunately they produce quantity, not quality. Nothing wrong with a hatchery bird (have a flock full of them myself at the moment) when one is looking mostly for a pet and/or eggs.

We inherited her from a lady who had mites along with our EE she had another sister however lahfawndah became a snack for a hawk. I usually get my girls from a farm up the road so I wasn't certain, I can't say I'm a breed enthusiast although I've always loved buff orps since I was a little girl.

I love Buff Orpingtons as well. I've raised them for years and still keep some in my flock. They are beautiful, hardy, good layers of large, brown eggs, and very friendly and gentle. My children, and now my granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) made lap pets of our BOs.)

Yep I've always had one or two of those good gals in the flock. I can't recall a time I was Orpless, even my granny had them.
