This was an extra bird sent from the hatchery she is actually more blonde than red but the sunlight is making her look dark. We love her and she is so sweet. She has feathers on her legs.

I thought that too, but don't they have a little black on their hackles and I think they don't have single combs

I@RogerTheChicken think she is the Cochin the personality description is right on my kids love this chicken. I am hoping to get more thank you. I don't think she is the Brahma, because she does not have dark edges on feathers.

I can't see the comb clearly in the pic, but if it is a single comb, she is a Cochin. If it is a pea comb, she is a Brahma. Either way, she is a beautiful bird. )

Looks like a Cochin to me. Brahmas are buff colombian with the black tips. She's a beautiful girl!
