What breed layed this egg?

My parents recently went to China and sent me some pictures of supermarket eggs that they saw. What sort of breed would have laid these speckled eggs? They were with the other chicken eggs, so I am pretty sure they are chicken eggs. They are pretty eggs, I think!

Those appear to be "century eggs" to me, they're regular eggs preserved in clay and salt until the whites of the egg turn a translucent black. Very tasty but an acquired taste.

They were with the regular fresh eggs. In fact you could mix and match eggs there. Say I want 4 dark shelled eggs, 3 speckled, 2 blue and 3 white I could mix and match them in a bag and buy them that way.
