What breed might thisbe?

You guys are silly! This bird is way too dark to be a partridge Rock--I have some now. The lacing on the feathers is really interesting. Could this be a really dark Barnevelder? I'm not very familiar with them but that's the first thing that came to mind. Then there's a black star that also came to mind. I had some a while back and they had red lacing in the hackle feathers.

Partridge Plymouth Rocks on occasion can be abit dark.

I can't tell if the legs are white or yellow. If they're white then Plymouth Rock of any color is out. If she lays a dark brown egg, then I'd be more confident of the Barnevelder.
I've just never seen a partridge Rock so dark. They are more of a gorgeous deep red.
Interesting bird, nonetheless!
