What breed mix do you think she is?

This is my 8 year old Mille Fleur D’uccle mix, Dawn. I’ve been told she’s a silkie/d’uccle mix, but I’m not sure. I looked at pictures online and she doesn’t really match any of them. I know every chicken is unique, but was wondering if I could have some opinions! Thank you

Yeah, that’s what makes me wonder. Other than her boots (which d’uccles already have) she doesn’t really have any feathers sticking up anywhere that would make me think that.

The coloring looks like a buff brahma, but that would have carried a pea comb, and probably slate legs.

Pea comb is recessive to single comb

It is? I thought single combs were recessive to everything, but I'm also not a genetics expert, so it makes sense that I'm wrong.
