What breed/mix?

The legs on your hens don't look yellow enough to be White Rocks, IMO. Are the eggs a light brown, dark brown, or a rich chocolate brown?

That's what the egg looks like... Medium brownish - like commercially sold eggs

I just saw an ad from the exact same seller where I bought the hens. Contacted him and asked him what breed the chickens are, he replied "Hy-line white". But as far as I know Hy-lines are a hybrid produced exclusively by a USA based company and not available over here in South Africa...

Any opinions?
