I just googled the Barred Cochin Bantam and I think you might be right! It's so exciting to see them get bigger and show their "true" colors so to say.

That’s what I think as well!
I think she’s Cochin all the way.
I have two Cochins (partridge hen & blue cockerel) and I love them! They’re the best! My grey silkie pullet is a very close second!
(I also have a Golden sebright, lavender/self blue OEG and then 7 others that are all started chicks! 3 OEG, a slate blue sort colored pullet, Brassy Back pullet and a unknown colored cockerel.
