What breed of chicken is this?

I'm thinking American Game cock. Not sure why he's so pale, but I see saddles.

Yeah. The head is making me think pullet, but there's no way those saddle feathers can appear on a pullet.

With pointed saddle feathers coming in? Even if you ignored the fact that Phoenix are sexually dimorphic as males and females have gender-specific feathering that's not a pullet. It looks to be a Gamefowl Cockerel to me. @centrarchid works with Games and could probably say for certain.

But it was only a wild guess. This bird could also be a partially hen feathered game fowl cockerel (Henny) or just a game cock with a weird sequence of development. Definitely an unusual bird!
