What breed of chicken should I get?????

I am about to get chickens and I need to know what breed I should get any feedback anyone has would be helpful.... thanks

What are your plans for these chickens? Eggs, meat, pets? How much room do you have for them? In the city, country, on a farm?

I want standard size chickens......... 4 of them

All of the red sex-link hens are very good layers, generally not broody, are relatively calm and friendly, are fairly good foragers and are very efficient feed converters. With the price of laying pellets, you will appreciate this in the long run. Another bonus, in their second year, they will lay a lot of double yolkers.
