What breed of chickens please?

Orpingtons have single combs and this bird has a pea comb. Cornish have pea combs and this bird has a single comb. Commercial Cornish crosses have single combs though.

Yes he has a cute little pea comb. He has a bit of yellow mottling on his wings too. Will take better photos tomorrow. I was hoping he was a pure breed of some kind but always a bit risky when buying from a feed and fodder store.

It really depends on what u are gonna do with them. Personally the only pure bred chicken I care to be full is a silkie. And that's only because mixed aside from sizzles and frizzles look ugly imo. As far as the full feathered I only care about how sweet they are. But that's just me. I don't show or anything.

Again, I say he's a gorgeous easter egger. One of his parents is probably a full blooded ameraucana, and the other...who knows. But I'd say he's a rare find, and absolutely beautiful!
