The odds of being party Curly Coated Retriever are very, very small. I'd put my money on Chessie, but most likely he's got Lab in him. There are far, far more Labs and Goldens around than Chessies or Curlies. Curlies are very, very rare and most of the time any pets sold are neutered or spayed. The handsome dog in question could have a blend of many breeds in his background. Whatever he is, he's beautiful.​

Oh yes, he has a "blend" in him. I'd wager neither mom nor dad were 1/2 of anything.

As I watch him develop I'm trying to decide when to get serious about training him. Now I'm just messing with him. I want him to sit, stay, shake hands on command. Not sure what other commands I'll teach him. While he's somewhat bull headed, he's got to be handles gently. His attitude reminds me somewhat of English setters. I know they take patience and sometimes over 2 years to train them.
