What breed of pigeon

Which thread should I be in to post a picture of a pigeon we caught today to find out what kind it is? I know it's not one of the regular "feral" pigeons that land in my yard eating the scratch I throw out for my chickens, it was kind of stand offish from them & we could practically walk up to it. It doesn't have a band but was not afraid of me when I carried it to put in a cage before it was eating by one of my cats.
