What Breed of Quail is this?

I recently got 5 quails (1 male, 4 females) from my dad's friend (a quail farmer), and the male he gave me looks like this:

As you can see, its decidedly different from the females. That being the case, I was wondering if its a different breed of coturnix quail or if its just some sort of genetic fluke.

There it is, he looks like the golden to me, but Nikki would know for sure (or at least surer than I).

It does look golden, but it seems kind of odd that in a farm of nearly 20,000 quail, there just happens to be one golden quail in a sea of pharoahs.

Perhaps its just me who finds that odd

Goldens Are Very Common Color In Coturnix

It's a male golden and are very common, it's the same species as the others, just a different variety.
