Ok I’m not trying to be rude to anyone here but if you really don’t know and you’re just taking a stab in the dark it’s better to not reply or say what you do know instead of wild guesses.

It’s a gamecock. The way gamefowl are bred you’ll never know what all is in him unless someone told you and that’s if they knew. They’re not easy to tell like layer breeds especially since they’re routinely crossed. This is from Craigslist add, being sold as a game rooster.
This is not my rooster, i found this one on Craigslist.
I'm really sorry! I tend to learn by doing, so I tend to try and help even if I may not have all the required experience, I didn't realize I was maybe being a bit of a nuisance. It's a habit I am trying to overcome. I will butt out, I will be watching the thread to try and learn a bit more about gamefowl! Sorry again! I didn't realize.Ok I’m not trying to be rude to anyone here but if you really don’t know and you’re just taking a stab in the dark it’s better to not reply or say what you do know instead of wild guesses.
No I was talking to the person that said it wasn’t a gamecock when it clearly is just from looking at him.I'm really sorry! Thanks for the Info! I will make sure of it, now that i am sure he is, I have to watch and make sure no other roosters are close to were i live! I don't want any harm to any animal, he is there just to protect from hawk problems. It’s a big deal cause some are extremely aggressive and need to be kept 100% separate. I would advise the OP to either pen him separately or with a hen or two but no other males and keep males away from any pen wire or you’ll have problems.

No problem. I have gamefowl myself and I’m not blowing smoke. As long as you don’t have any other roosters, guinea males, peacocks etc.. you’ll be fine with the 1 rooster running loose. If any hens raise chicks from him you’ll be back to the beginning of separating males once they mature. Good luck. He’s a good looking rooster. Thanks for the Info!
