this is a silkie that i picked up from a local breeder and i don't know much about silkies so i was wondering if some silkie experts could shine some light on this. this silkie has 4 toes on one foot and 5 on the other and does not have the traditional "fuzz" that a normal silkie has. it also has a florescent blue earlobe (if the means anything) so my question is does anybody have any sort of idea what breed this silkie is mixed with. Or if it is not mixed what breed this really is ?. because that would really help me out in the future when it comes time to getting her a silkie roo.

this is a picture of the 4 toes on the left foot and 5 on the right

It looks like it's mixed with a smooth feathered bird. Silkies are supposed to have five toes and a lot of other birds have four. The blue ear lobes silkies have too. It's hard to guess what other breed she is mixed with

all i know is that she is bigger than my mille fleur roo my buff brahma roo my rir roo and my cochin roo ( all roos are bantam except my rir )

Where are you from? Makes a Big Difference.

Looks like a Goldtop which is a Hybrid/ Sex-link cross of a Silkie and a Light Sussex

She looks alot like my Silkie mix (Silkie x EE). Her name is Tipsy Cake, she lays cute little blue eggs and is an excellent momma :)
