The day after I got my chicks and ducklings I found out that one of my ducklings is missing its left eye! [IMG]I was wondering if this is going to affect it later on in life. In the brooder it seems fairly normal.

I did my best to try and draw this duck I saw on my pond. I saw it with two pairs of mallards but it was the only one of its kind. Its body was a pretty gray with a blueish looking tint. It had white stripes around its chest and tail. I was a mazed how pretty it was. I only wish I could have gotten a picture before it flew away. [IMG]Would anyone have a guess to the breed?

Very close to the ones on the right in the picture. There is no sign of infection. Just wondering, were would you get vitamins? A feed store or online?

I had a one-eyed duckling. He grew up and does just fine for himself as a member of our flock.

Feed stores carry them, and I like to get the vitamins-electrolytes-probiotics online because I cannot find them here.
