What breed+one eyed duckling.

The day after I got my chicks and ducklings I found out that one of my ducklings is missing its left eye!

I was wondering if this is going to affect it later on in life. In the brooder it seems fairly normal.

I did my best to try and draw this duck I saw on my pond. I saw it with two pairs of mallards but it was the only one of its kind. Its body was a pretty gray with a blueish looking tint. It had white stripes around its chest and tail. I was a mazed how pretty it was. I only wish I could have gotten a picture before it flew away.

Would anyone have a guess to the breed?

It should mostly be okay, as long as there is no infection, I would think. Just something to watch. I like giving my littles poultry vitamins every couple of weeks at least, to help them develop well. Do you have vitamins?

The drawing looks to me like some kind of Swedish domestic. Did it look anything like these?

Very close to the ones on the right in the picture. There is no sign of infection. Just wondering, were would you get vitamins? A feed store or online?

I had a one-eyed duckling. He grew up and does just fine for himself as a member of our flock.

Feed stores carry them, and I like to get the vitamins-electrolytes-probiotics online because I cannot find them here.
