What breed or chickens do you have, and what type is your favorite?

I love my barred rocks too, for their curiosity in whatever it is you're doing, love my Ameraucanas for their little fluffy beards, love my faverolles for their goofiness (and they look really funny when they run)! Really hard to pick a favorite!

I love the way my columbian rock Sophia runs. It looks like she has big bloomers on.

I think it is so fun to look at there people's chickens, and to see what they have! I have gotten many breeds just because I saw them on here and thought they were pretty! Thanks everyone!!

We currently have 4 hens. A speckled Sussex, an americauna, a Black sex link, and a buff Orpington. We had a Rhode Island Red but had to regime her due to her being too territorial when we added a new duck to the flock.

But I’d have to say my favorites are our americauna and buff orphington. Our americauna is at the bottom of the pecking order so she’s always been super docile and sweet. Our buff is at the top of the pecking order but she’s still a sweet heart when you hold her and makes the funniest noises!

I have had many different breeds of chickens. Silver laced Wyandotte, easter Eggars, speckled Sussex, Rhode Island red, buff rock, White rock, barred rock, marans, welsummer, Australorp.
It’s hard to say but I think my wyandottes are my favorite. I plan to get more of them this year.

Wyandottes are SO pretty!! The sliver laced are my absolute favorite!!
