What breed please?

This is a 9 month old pullet = she she lays very light brown eggs. She is small and her tail fans out and stand up right.

I couldnt tell you what she is but she sure is pretty. I liek the coloing on her hackles!!! she looks kinda lemon blue colored!!!

Looks to me like a Light Brown Leghorn.

She should be laying white eggs. Are you feeding her a peanut oil based diet?

White lobes *usually* means white eggs, maybe she is a mix?
Are you sure it is her that is laying the brown?

deff a leghorn i have 2 pullets and they lay anywhere from brown to white ;-)

I've never seen a Light Brown Leghorn with white ears that lays a brown egg.

It looks a littel light for a brown leghorn no ?? I thought they were darker in color . I may be wrong .

Well..... she could be laying white eggs - I'm actually not sure come to think.
I went to the NC State Fair early one morning before it officially began for the week and asked to buy some hens - I drove home with a crazy mix. One hen is even a Maran frizzle mix!!
