What breed Rooster?

when a hen I bought at an auction had SLM I used the cream for humans when they have scabies and it cleared it up in a jiffy and it was a 1 time treatment... no need to oil and lube weekly

I agree, I believe he looks like he has some Delaware in him, except the tail...almost everything matches up. Oh, and he does have some feet feathering..just hard to notice with all those flakey scales. I haven't treated him yet, but plan to this week. I will give the vasoline and the scabies treatment a go.
Thank you for the advice.
My girls look fine, but should I treat them as well..just incase?

I have used the Adams Flea and Tick Spray for years with no issues. A fellow breeder suggested WD-40 for a "cheap" fix and it works as well, but I do prefer the Adams for it's nice smell.

I wouldn't use Adams or WD-40 if you're worried about any residue in the meat or eggs. Pretty sure both are not OK to use if you are organic.
And WD-40 is really toxic (read the label.) I would definitely NOT buy eggs from someone if I knew they were using that on their birds.
The oil/vaseline is safe and it works, so why use something more toxic?
