What breed(s) of chickens do you want, but have a tough time finding?

Honestly the hardest to find for me are GOOD birds of some of the old heritage APA breeds

100% even decent heritage stock that not just second gene hatchery hens.

Has anybody ever found a breeder in USA for either of these?

Kadaknath seems no different to me from an Ayam Cemani except in name.

Sebrights, Seramas, Japanese bantams, etc. List goes on really. We had to drive 3 hours one way to get a Sebright / Japanese bantam here

Silver quail d’Anvers are a future dream of mine. Since I am going to college soon, there was never a reason to try to obtain any.
Cuckoo d’Anvers following the Standard cuckoo description have never existed, as far as I know, so I’m trying to breed my own. The hens look fine, and the type is great, but the brassiness and blurry sickles of the males are quite un-beautiful.
Other than my dream d’Anvers, I’m not interested in more chickens though.
More interested in “common” eastern Canada geese (a subspecies that I don’t know if anyone owns anymore), buff turkeys, Cackling geese (these are probably the easiest to find.)
What I actually have been after lately and had a ton of difficulty with lately is Arabian Trumpeter pigeons. Nigh impossible, but I did it. Hopefully the breeder got my check and will mail them to me soon.

Personally i find the Ayam Cemani more unique. Kadaknath are more brown.

Facebook is your best bet. That how I was able to find 2-3 breeders of red pyle oegb. Both long term beeeders who I am grateful of them sharing their experiences and knowledge to help guide me to breeding quality birds in tje coming year.
