What breed/sex is this?

isa brown didnt even come to mind. thats a possibility, but still

still going with pullets, you should know for sure in another week or so.
Why do you say pullet? I’m noticing little red wattles but the comb is about the same color as the RIR pullets.

A lot of hens still have wattles. My RIR, she’s 23 weeks and laying eggs.

i have 14 different breeds of chickens plus 4 breeds of bantams, also raising my friends 14 (8 weeks old) and there are 12 different breeds in her mix lol i have a very wide range to look at and compare with.
Are they larger than RIR? These are a lot bigger. A lot.

New Hampshire Red Chicks
Originating from the state of New Hampshire, these chickens are very similar to the Rhode Island Reds, which were used in their development. However, the New Hampshire Red Chickens are a lighter buff-red color than the Rhode Islands and were selected for earlier maturing.

stole that from meyerhatchery.com (got all mine from there) but could be why theyre larger.

A few days older. They are looking more like my RIR’s, just a lot bigger and a little lighter in color. Everyone combs look about the same so I’m hopeful everyone is a hen.
