What breed & sex is this?

I made a post online because 2 of my chicks are cockerels. I received a response for a trade with the following image? Is this a hen? What breed? Please help...I don’t want another cockerel.

Really hard to tell without being able to see the whole body. You want to check for pointy saddle / hackle feathers

Are you asking about the Silkies or the blue one with red chest?

Wing color says male.. but saddles should tell the truth..

Otherwise, at least one of those silkies is cockerel.

ETA: zooming in the blue one IS COCKEREL, I see pointy saddles, period. The only possible female in that photo is the front Silkie!!

Yes, the brown chicken, not the silkies. I’m trying to ask for another pic because I do t want to trade a rooster for a rooster

Its a cockerel. Red wing bars are a male specific trait.

I see a blue and red cockerel, a white Silkie cockerel, and a white Silkie pullet.
