So ducks don’t have to be as messy as everyone says they are. My first ducklings were very messy and that’s because I didn’t know what the heck I was doing. But my second ducklings were very clean and I even kept them in our house. I have clean freaks in my house and they were okay with them. I’d still get them they are soooo worth it! They’ll be your best friends I promise! 
just set up your brooder like you would a chicken brooder and with the water you are going to have to figure out what you like best. I personally just raise it with wood then lay fresh shavings. It’s not too hard and it is soooo worth it!
You will not regret it. And your husband will fall in love with them too. A guy in my house was very hesitant on getting them then I got them and he just thinks they are the cutest funniest things ever! Just today he sat outside taking pictures of them cuz they were being silly sitting in the snow

They’re starting to settle down and eat. I’ve seen all three drink also so they’re doing great!
