Wow! Up here in WA, we (at least near me) haven't even gotten a dusting!

Minnesota is a great place to visit....in the summer. The walleye fishing is amazing.

Why waste time on walleyes when we have real fish?

Hey! We got 9 inches! That's a lot for a former Valley Girl! Hahaha!

I'm not complaining, either. I'd take single digits over our triple digit summers and scary, scary wildfires.

Don't worry, i have been to California many times, San Diego, Lost Angeles, San Jose up to the North Bay area and have only seen one celebrity (Larry King). I know you're all hard working surfers over there!
And i will never forget that terrible disappointment during my first visit in 1999: Drove down to Half-Moon bay on Sunday afternoon, great weather, hot burning August sun, beautiful beach, so i got rid of my clothes and started running to the Pacific Ocean…
It felt like somebody had cut off my legs! The water there was arctic cold, 42F, if i remember correctly.

My Wife always wanted to move to California and was totally disappointed with me when i decided for Houston first. Later, after watching plenty of news, she understood why i don't want to live in the Golden State. You have the scariest of all disasters, Earthquacks, Wildfires, Mudslides, Tsunamis and the Kardashians!
