Yes, I believe so. It’s like a whisper, I’ve never heard a loud, clear quack. I’m not positive though, I’ve never had ducks before.

I tried listening to drake sounds but what I hear online and in person aren’t quite the same.

If you have never had dux before, would you mind telling us why you turned to the dark side?

I have Fig but think Fig is a drake. The other two Runners are Bean and Pip, short for Jellybean and Pipsqueak. The three white layers are Luna, Pearl and Snow

Not dum. Just skimmed.

But it did say I might have to wait until Thursday. I hope not! I am 2.5 hours(ish) east of Gonzales. I wish I could gave just picked them up instead.

See, tol'ya: They send out the notifications in the afternoon. They're busy all day packing ducklings into boxes and then they're sent off to the post-office in a large truck.
So where are your duckies? Still in Gonzales?

I don't think so: They will be trucked from Gonzales to San Jose, from San Jose to Sacramento (by truck) and then to your local post-office.
They should be on the night truck from San Jose to Sacramento and arrive there before midnight. Then on the truck to your location, arriving tomorrow.
Last fall i got the notification that i can pick'em up at the PO around 10am - when the mailmen have already left for their routes.
