Might be back...
Hi! I'm meeting with a lady at 6:00 p.m. at eastern standard time and I NEED some breeds that fit this description.

1. Friendly and easy to handle
2. Great egg layer
3. Works in all climates
4. Isn't TOO big
5. Easy to obtain

Thank you and again I NEED this at 6:00. I'm helping a lady get chickens.

If available - Black Australorps and or Orpingtons would be good choices. Sex links would be great because it would avoid the risk of "oops" cockerels.

Yep, thats what I was thinking. Oh, forgot one thing, the chickens have to be very very very quiet. She owns a restaurant and I think she is keeping them in the backyard.

When hens lay eggs, the flock will often chime in with a chorus of the egg song. I don't know of a breed that is guaranteed not to do that.

A LOT! Just hoping there was some obscure chance that someone, somewhere, realized the need for at least some quiet chicken breeds. But (sigh) they do love singing their egg song.
