What breed was this rooster?

Sorry in advance for the super bad quality of the photos...

I was going thru some old stuff, and came across a project I did at school in 7th grade (soooo many years ago!), and it got me thinking... What breed was my rooster? I can remember that my hen was an Australorp, and that my duck was an Indian runner, that's it.

I kind of feel bad that I can't remember what he was, and even though it's entirely inconsequential, it's going to be one of those things that bugs me until I can find out.

Unfortunately, these were the only photos that I could find (the rest are probably on a floppy disc somewhere!), and there isn't one of him in full adult plumage.

I know the chances of a positive ID are slim based on these crappy photos, but can anyone tell me what he likely was? A rough guestimate would suffice.

And yeah, you can probably guess my age based on that funky Word Art alone!

He looks similar to an Iowa Blue, but kinda dark.

Wahey, I think you're right on the money...

I just quickly googled that, and found a pic that looks similar to how he did.

Although, I think he had more chestnut on him in some places.

I found a few pics online that look similar to how he did as an adult...

Perhaps he was just the rooster equivalent of a mutt!

My memory could also be wrong.

He quite possibly was a mutt. Hard tellin.

That many colors in an undefined pattern usually spells Barnyard Mix.
