    brown leghorn hen or brown leghorn mix. The pic makes her legs look really pale, but I've seen leghorns with nearly ivory colored legs before.... The pattern and white earlobes is what makes me say leghorn...but the small comb makes me think shes a mix as full leghorn hens tend to have pretty large combs.

    Shes a cutie and the babies are precious!

    nah I believe shes definately not a wellie as wellsummers have red earlobes and are thicker heavier bodied. [​IMG] but hey I could be wrong - lol.

    I think its a brown leghorn cross of some type. Those legs are just way too much in the pearl range for me to say she is full blooded.

    Thanks friends! My friend has all kinds of chickens that she has NO clue where they come from, they are all over her neighborhood, LOL...I will let her know...

    I will say a American game hen cross.. She fits the type of them closer than any of the breeds listed I believe.
