What breed?

What breed are these was told something orpington. Just got given them

I see feathers on those legs. They've got an orpington-ish body type, but they're not pure orps--if they are orps. It is difficult to tell with crosses sometimes.

I don't see feathered legs, I see possible scaly leg mites. Lavender Orpingtons, but definitely not breeding quality.

They are very scabby legs. I was told that putting Vaseline on it to help keep them from cracking.

Lavender Orps. legs not in the best shape. Nice looking boys. Vaseline them up.maybe not show quality, but who cares. A ribbon and 2.00 will get you a cheap coffee at starbucks.

I thought there legs were abit funny, ive no idea where they came from etc. They just settling in, had long car trip, their legs could be bit puffy from crouching in a cage too.

I have Lavs..love them.

Have them soak their feet in herbal flea shampoo for a while. Their legs must be so uncomfortable.

just slather Vaseline on them. morning and again at night, I find this helps best.
