Ok, so what's the best treatment? Ive put vasoline on twice now and i dusted them with smite powder (dismacious earth).

Don't bother with the DE. It's only meant to control mite populations (as opposed to reducing them), and most swear it's not even good at that. Keeping after them with vaseline should remove it. If it doesn't, move to a stronger treatment such as permethrin-based spray.

I agree, their legs do look much better. But I would still continue treatment just to make sure there's no chance of the mites spreading to your other birds.

agreed with above. Keep at it. You also don't want to miss any eggs that may have been laid.
