What breed?

My friend saw this at a local shelter. Any guesses on breed? They say it is a hen... Is there a way to age a chicken?

Cornish X also known as a broiler also known as the chickens in grocery stores…. she or he looks to be a year to a tad over a year….

I'm not convinced that's a CornishX. Do you have a better pic? What is the leg color?

What color eggs is it laying? If white then sure, it's a Leghorn. Body type looks wrong to be to be a leghorn. If it's not laying there is a chance it's quite young and a CornishX meat bird. Meat birds grow very fast and are harvested by 10 weeks of age.
