She lays a VERY light brown egg, I was very busy today so I didn't have a chance to get pics... This is one from awhile ago.. She was a pullet here, so her comb and waddles aren't very red yet. This is actually the first day I got her. Hope it helps. Btw, if you didn't know she is on the left. Lol.
If she has just started laying, her eggs will be light at first. I had a RIR that did that when she first started laying. Give her some time, and she, hopefully will lay some darker eggs. If she has been laying for a while now, you might need to change her diet to a more rich feed, and let her scratch in the yard. This will make your chicken more happy, and hopefully give you some darker eggs. About her breed, i think the is a Rhode Island Red. She is a bantam if she is smaller than the average hen at 9 months of age. Sence she is laying eggs, she is fully grown. It all depends on her size.
