What breed.?

She lays a VERY light brown egg, I was very busy today so I didn't have a chance to get pics... This is one from awhile ago.. She was a pullet here, so her comb and waddles aren't very red yet. This is actually the first day I got her. Hope it helps. Btw, if you didn't know she is on the left. Lol.

If she has just started laying, her eggs will be light at first. I had a RIR that did that when she first started laying. Give her some time, and she, hopefully will lay some darker eggs. If she has been laying for a while now, you might need to change her diet to a more rich feed, and let her scratch in the yard. This will make your chicken more happy, and hopefully give you some darker eggs. About her breed, i think the is a Rhode Island Red. She is a bantam if she is smaller than the average hen at 9 months of age. Sence she is laying eggs, she is fully grown. It all depends on her size.

The light colored eggs could be explained by the fact that she's some sort of white-laying cross, as demonstrated by her earlobe

Sounds like she's a good chicken

She is a very good chicken, and she is actually my smallest... but nicest. I am noticing her eggs are actually starting to get darker.
