Does anyone else weigh their chicks? At 5 1/2 weeks she is about 13 oz. I'm wondering because if she is a red sex link, why was she smaller than my silkies and d'uccle when I got her? Also, any ideas on the sex? I'm assuming that if she is a sex link, that she is a pullet.

hard to say looks like a red sex link but I have never seen a bantam red sex link before...could still be a rock

I am new to chickens.. only about a year. How can you tell that's a roo already? I'm trying to learn how to figure out breeds
