My husband spoke with the man we got the chickens from, and they were all incubated eggs from different sets of parents. Does that make a difference in judging the size of the comb and legs with the others?
I remember seeing on here a post with a drawing of different vents on older chickens (not day-olds) to tell male from female. Does anyone by chance know where I could find it? I've been all over the site looking for it again and can't find it.
I did look at the chicken's vent, opened up a tiny bit, and while nothing "poked out" I did see something akin to a small bullseye, and everything was shiny.
