What Breed?

She's a Red Sex-Link. They are also known as Cinnamon Queens, Golden Comets, and Red Stars. The color pattern and comb size make me say female. Males would be white with some red on the wings, unlike females, which are mostly red with some white in the tail and wings. Pretty pullet! You'll get lots of nice large brown eggs out of her. My friend has a Red Sex-Link, and her bird lays nearly every day.

She's a pullet if she's a Red Sex-link (which is what I think she is, at least going by these photos). Different hatcheries/dealers call them by different names (Golden Comets, Red Stars, Cinnamon Queens, etc.), but they're basically all the same thing. RSL's are very popular due to their sweet temperaments and great egg laying ability of large brown eggs.

If not a Red Sex-link, then a production Rhode Island Red or other red cross breed rooster is possible, as those legs are thick and the coloring is patchy.
