i have a few welsummer chicks that look similar to that

I got 4 welsummers same age this was my free chick from mcmurry very similar but they are different breeds

Could be a number of breeds. Is it a bantam? It looks smaller than the others. Are there feathers on it's feet or is it "clean legged" What color are it's legs? Yellow, grey, pink? Could be Old English Game. Looks like something with silver coloring but it's hard to tell from the lighting in the pic

Hi Countryboy!

Couple of questions for you. Did you hatch this chick yourself or did it come from another source? If you hatched it yourself, what color and size was the egg? If it came from a feed store, could you find out what hatchery it came from?

With these chipmunk chicks since its a fairly common down color/pattern, you will likely need to wait to guess breed until it gets more adult plumage unless you can narrow down the possibilities for us.
